DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade in short strokes at a 45 degree angle to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris and hair. Dermaplaning is completely pain free and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is not. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. Dermaplaning provides an effective and safe exfoliation treatment that promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skin care products while making the skin look and feel smoother. It is also beneficial for reducing the appearance of acne scars. Your makeup application will appear flawless on your smooth as glass skin!  This treatment is suitable for all clients not currently experiencing active acne or rosacea. MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (aka MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic, pumping massage movement that follows the direction of lymph flow. MLD moves fluid out of tissues, eliminating “waste” which keeps space around the cells clear.  This enables skin cells to function optimally. Stagnation and poor lymph flow results in deterioration and inflammation of the skin which manifests as acne, rosacea, puffiness, dark circles, sensitivities and “aging” skin.  This deeply relaxing massage reduces stress!  Due to the myriad of benefits this technique yields, it is highly recommended as an addition to ANY facial, especially healing for acne and rosacea with immediate results. 

GUA SHA

Gua Sha is an ancient  Traditional Chinese Medicine and Southeast Asian healing technique that dates back to the Ming Dynasty. A smooth stone is pressed along the face and neck with repetitive strokes or “ scrapping”.  It is designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, boost blood circulation and encourage lymphatic drainage to banish bloat. It helps break up fascia, the connective tissue that hugs muscles, which can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation. Gua Sha achieves immediately noticeable results in the appearance of fine lines, deep wrinkles, dark circles, puffy eyes and sagging skin, relieves jaw tension, sculpts and contours the face and clears  noxious accumulation. THAI HERBAL POULTICE

Blends the profound benefits of heat, aroma, herbs and acupressure therapy. A therapeutic hot steamed poultice ( sack of herbs) is applied to the face, relieving soreness and pain while increasing flexibility  and  blood circulation, giving a simultaneously relaxing and energizing effect on the body, mind and soul Your sense of smell and touch  will be elevated through this Traditional Thai Medicine technique.  Therapeutic herbs included in poultice: java apple, geranium, patchouli and roselle (hibiscus).This is a lovely addition to any Gua Sha or MLD  treatment, and suited for most skin types.

GREEN POWER REBUILDER

A natural, mechanical exfoliator that uses an exclusive herbal blend of finely milled marine and plant extracts. LED

Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits.
